“Eye of the Tiger”

Philadelphia - Liberty Bell, Rocky’s Statue, Penn Museum and Reading Terminal Market

The tour will start at the Liberty Bell.  Visit the Bell and the video presentation about the bell.

The Liberty Bell bears a timeless message: "Proclaim Liberty throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants thereof"…Go beyond the iconic crack to learn how this State House bell was transformed into an extraordinary symbol. Abolitionists, women's suffrage advocates and Civil Rights leaders took inspiration from the inscription on this bell.

The tour will head to the Infamous stairs that were run by Rocky Balboa.  Either run or walk the stairs followed by your picture with the Rocky Statue.

The tour will then stop at the Reading terminal for lunch and shopping. The Reading Terminal Market is one of America’s largest and oldest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building, the Market offers an incredible selection of locally grown & exotic produce, locally sourced meats and poultry, plus the finest seafood, cheeses, baked goods, and confections. You’ll find everything you need to create a memorable meal, from cookbooks, to table linens, to kitchenware, to fresh cut flowers, and more. Plus the widest variety of restaurants under one roof.

Our Last stop on the tour will be a guided tour of the Penn Museum. Founded in 1887, the Penn Museum has always been one of the world’s great archaeology and anthropology research museums, and the largest university museum in the United States. With roughly one million objects in our care, the Penn Museum encapsulates and illustrates the human story: who we are and where we came from.
